Kingswood Montessori Academy is a school where children needs come always first. Each child is encouraged individually to meet their age required educational standards. The teachers are highly skilled and work hard with each child. The principal is kind and knows every child individually. Students are happy and show self confidence at all levels giving them what they need to go out into the world! ' The school atmosphere is great, campus is beautiful. There is a superb cultural curriculum with art and music and sport being highlited at all times.

Our child attended Pre-K 3 and 4 at another school. We like the Montessori philosophy and teaching method and the best part for us was how each child can learn and grow at their own pace. During our interview we noticed how every child was involved and focused doing their lessons and how the teachers and staff operated. Needless to say we were very impress. Now that we ve been part of Kingswood Montessori since the summer we can tell you it really is a fantastic school. Our child has made so much progress; the difference was noticeable within a couple of weeks. Our child is doing math, reading and is eager to learn and enjoys every moment spent there. The teachers are FANTASTIC, GREAT AND VERY NURTURING AND CARING. They have lots of extracurricular activities for the kids (all ages). All the materials and books are included in the tuition.

Heidi: Our daugher has attended preschool at this facility and we could not be more pleased. She reads without difficulty, does creative art projects, is excited about math and can count and write to 100 without help. She starts Kindergarten in 6 weeks. The school is very, very safe and the staff takes this responsibility seriusly. There are many ways for parents to be involved in the school and in the classroom. Parental participation is quite high. The extracurricular activites include soccer, tennis, string instruments, music appreciation, Karate, yoga, dance and more. We considered many schools before chosing this one and couldn't be happier with our choice.Ah they have two miniature horses,a goose,a rooster and goats for the childrens to interact and learn love the animals.

lester streeter: We love the new administration; they are improving an already good school. My son’s teacher is very qualified, she has a Master degree and is Montessori certified, the facility is just beautiful, the classrooms and the playgrounds are excellent and what is more important to me my child is learning in a save loving environment, I can tell you as a father that is priority for Kingwood Montessori staff. The school is one of the few private schools accredited in the area.

After many years of great montessori education and experiences at Kingswood we have removed our children from this school. We have not been happy with the new administration and feel like we are never given honest answers when we have questioned the poor decisions that have recently been made. Over the past 6 years, we have always been thrilled with both of our children's teachers and have trusted them. When we found out that every teacher and assistant was leaving this year we knew something was going on that we didn't want to be a part of. I don't know the details of what has happened there, but if the staff who have been there on the inside for many years do not feel comfortable being there, then why I would allow my children to stay? Please investigate this school before putting your child there.

Steve Lewis: I strongly recommend this school to parents who value what is truly important in the school... the student. My child has been a student now for 4 years and I am amazed at the new energy the school has had this year. Education, positivity, encouraging independence, fostering a safe environment is the priority at this school, as well as giving my child an individual attention to his learning needs. The school is nationally accredited and the administration is very attentive to the families needs. I agree with the last reviews, definitely do your research, visit other schools, ask to speak to current families enrolled in the school, and you will see what makes this school so great.

There has been too much turmoil involved at this school over the past year. It is not a happy, healthy environment. It seems as if decisions are not being made with the children's well being in mind. We have not been happy with the direction this school has gone under the new ownership.

Kingswood Montessori has made a real difference in my child's life. He enjoys learning now and has improved academically a great deal because of it. The school became nationally accredited this year, and they are focused on an individualized approach due to its small class size and qualified Montessori certified teachers. My son enjoys learning in the garden, interacting with the animals as well as other enriching programs such as art, music and multi media. Congrats! You guys are doing an amazing job!

My family along with every almost every family in my child's class has decided to leave Kingswood. Every teacher quit this year, as well as most of the support staff. After years of loving this school we have not had the same experience since the school was sold. I would not recommend this school.

Robert Cummins: As a parent I am pleased with the individualized attention my child is receiving in the Elementary program. I was looking for a program that focused on academics but also fostered other areas such as independent thinking, social awareness art, Spanish, responsibility, and good behavior, and that is what the Montessori system is teaching my child. This is a wonderful school and my child is benefiting greatly from it. Thanks!
