About This School
Magnet schools are public schools that offer a specialized curriculum or educational philosophy, often with a specific focus or theme. Magnet schools promote student diversity because they are open to students outside the normal school district boundaries and often attract high caliber students through competitive programs. Bank of America Learning Academy Reviews
I can't stress enough of the value this school is to my family. We began 15 years ago with my daughter attending kindergarden. Kacey attended K-2, back then the school went up to 3rd grade only. She went to Twin Lakes for 3rd(1st year for this school) James Weldon and gradurated from Paxon Advance Studies. She is in her 3rd year at UNF. My son is now in 3rd grade at BOA school. They shared the same kindergarden teacher(Mrs. Wildman) and are very different students. My son has a processing learning disablity. Over the years we have had extraordinary teachers, lunch staff, special education teachers and this year a remarkable principal. There is one person in my opinion over the past 15 years that has stood out consistently, Ms. Lita Bass. When we were sister school to Twin Lakes , Ms Bass was our link and rock to keep our wonderful school together. Yes, I could go on beacause the staff is like no other. I feel both of my children have excelled and are so blessed for my husband to work where I trust my children (12 years apart) and have the same quailty of education. The school is valued to many and we are fortunate to keep this tradition alive.
