Darnell Cookman Middle School
Louis Miller: The school is poised to become one that will gain in national recognition. It has staffing that is more than adequate, in terms of scholastics, and the additional support staffs are exceptional. I am extremely pleased at seeing my son excel in today's climate of stress factors.
The cultural environment is well balanced at the school and the administrators at the school are very diligent in maintaining this balance. Other schools in the district could learn from processes taking place within this environment.
All issues of everyday school processes (i.e. behavioral, activity, safety, and overall wellbeing) are handled and/or managed very professionally and in a timely matter.
I would recommend the school and look forward to my son continuing. It is not every day that I make a comment like this, but this one is necessary.
Best regards
