About This School
Magnet schools are public schools that offer a specialized curriculum or educational philosophy, often with a specific focus or theme. Magnet schools promote student diversity because they are open to students outside the normal school district boundaries and often attract high caliber students through competitive programs. Richard L. Brown Elementary School Reviews
I hate the way the staff members do their job.The teachers at R.L.Brown are verbally abusive towards the children especially,my son I don't like the fact that the teacher put a falsified grade on my son recent report card just to start confusion with me,the parent. The Duval Public School is doing a bad job of protecting kids from being verbally abuse by the teachers at R.L.Brown.
My older daughter, who is now an 8th grader at James Weldon Johnson, started at R L Brown in 2001 as a Kindergartner. My younger daughter is now a 5th grader at R L Brown. Both of my daughters have had excellent experiences with this school. They have both been very lucky to have had wonderful teachers that have been both professional and caring. I cannot recommend this school more highly. I know that R L Brown did a wonderful job preparing my older daughter for the rigors of James Weldon Johnson and my younger daughter is also looking forward to staying in the magnet program.
