Stanton College Preparatory Reviews
Don't go if you want a professional environment
Academically, fantastic. But the sports program is horrible. The head basketball coach is especially bad. The football program is a mess too. My son doesn't want anything to do with sports anymore after playing football and basketball since kindergarten. Completely a shame and not up to what Stanton says it is.
The school is one of exception and I now see how it continues to gain in national recognition. The staffing is great, in terms of scholastics, and the additional support staffs are getting better at parental concerns addressed. I am extremely pleased at seeing my son and daughter be a part of this school.
The cultural environment is becoming more balanced at the school and the administrators at the school are diligent in addressing this balance. With the "Feeder Schools" in the district becoming increasingly competitive, I see a personal reward in that competition, in terms of my two children better acheiving results that will make them stand out in the "true competition" they will face after they graduate. Other districts could learn from environmental and administrative processes taking place within this collegiate preparatory environment.
All issues of everyday school processes (i.e. behavioral, activity, safety, and overall wellbeing) are now being better handled and/or managed. I look forward to the results of addressed needs of the parents and am certain they will be handled very professionally and in a timely matter.
I would recommend the school and look forward to my son's upcoming graduation and my daughter continuing. Keep up the good work!
It a very great school compared to some of the other school in duval
