Twin Lakes Academy Middle School Reviews
It was a good school, but that changed
Twin Lakes Academy Middle School was a A school, but that was before they started busing in students from areas of town where they are obviously in need of some parenting. They now have fights, at least once a week, the students are bullying other kids. They are bring drugs to school, the teaches often lose control of the classrooms. My daughter just needs to make it this last year and get out of there. She comes home telling us stories about what happens at school and it is ridiculous. You try to talk to the school about it and they just make excuses and tell you it is all okay. The one police officer they have on site is running around all the time like crazy. They had 3 bomb threats within a two week period and never figured out who did it. If you have a choice, don't go here.
It is very good. My girls receive straight "A"s.
I think the school is great because it helps everyone stay focused with everything. The school is some ways organized and strict on what they need. I really appreciate going to the school this year and it is very impressive.
Tried to enroll my child Twin Lakes middle school after relocating to this area. The registration person was extremely rude and was basically "this is how it is" attitude when I tried to explain that the state he was transferring to would not send out the final report card until he checked out. I was not happy with the attitude I received. Toward the end of my being visibly frustrated, she loosened up just a little, but first impressions of the school are not up to par. Since I have no choice of where my corporate apartment puts me, I am going to be sure not to buy a home in the area. To think, I actually considered it. I can tell that Twin Lakes is not customer friendly or compassionate.
