Lake Alfred Elementary School Reviews
My review is based on my full year experience with Ms Bess in the VPK program/Pre-K. (My daughter is currently attending LAE for her second year with Ms Williams in Kindergarten).
The Pre-K shed/portable is very small and sad looking, which almost made me turn away from the school. The interior is drab and well used as well. However, the Teacher, Ms Bess made all the difference. She keeps the room clean and organized, as well as her students. She brings sunshine to that drab ol shed. The room is decorated brightly and education is always the theme. No matter how many kids Ms. Bess had, she always had control of the room, the children's attention and kept all the parents very well informed of the day to day workings. I never once felt a lack of communication. Ms. Bess also goes beyond the call of duty to ensure your child will walk through those Kindergarten doors with their head held high. They will know more than just their ABC's and few nursery songs. They will be able to write, read a bit, count up to about 15 and will even learn a bit of math.
Ms. Bess is a wonderful teacher and a true asset to the school and your child!
