Sleepy Hill Middle School

Thumbs up to Sleepy Hill Middle for their dress code this year.  I believe the children will concentrate more on studies rather than clothing.  It makes it easier for parents and students.  Hopefullly all will adjust. Bring your pencils and paper and a winning attitude sets well with me for a successful school year. Sleepy Hill is a school that's rolling up their sleeves and ready to work hard for our kids.  Sleepy Hill You Rock!!

Mandated to purchase school uniforms  directly from the school with their logo on it. This is NOT a charter, magnet or choice school, but a regular pulic school; therefore they should be following the same uniform dress code as the other public schools set up by the county. What if I don't want people to know my child attends your school? This school is notorious for fights, problem students and a lack of control in general with no consideration for the safety of the other students. The school board needs to shut this place down.

The organization at this school this year is a complete disaster.  I've never seen the Principal in the main office.  The kids are assigned withount take in consideration their refferral from another schools or psicologist evaluation.  We never receive a real orientation before start the new year.  The new students are completly lost....They don't have assistance in spanish for the parents at the main office.  At the school website the information is not currently by example the lunch menu is for May 2010 and in spanish is for april 2009.  The don't care if the hispanic poblation are informed about they kids school procedures.  I am very disapointed with this school....
