This is an A+ school....with excellent academic and performing arts programs.....see for yourself...come by take a tour learn about A&M. The kids love it here!!!!

joan: This school is a nothing good!! The academics are poor because the good teachers are fired. The administration is the worst I have ever known and it has no consideration for the students. Prety much all students have left during this school year. They have admitted kids without any interest in the arts, they just need a higher head count for more money!!!! My child has been there 2 years and we are leaving at the end of the year. Please do not consider this a school for your child if you want the best for them and don't believe they are an A school, remember the scores are from the previous year, wait until the scores come out for this year. Be carefull

I am very proud of A&M it has received an A+High Performing designation from the state of Florida. This means the school met its academic standards (at least two A grades and one B) and financial stability for three continuous years. This is a great unique urban performing arts high school. My son loves it, he soon will be graduating. Go Class of 2012!!

This school is a joke!! The academics are extremely poor because they have a high turnover in teachers yearly and the good teachers are fired. The administration is horrible and it has no consideration for the students. Many children did not return after last year and a good majority has left during this school year. They have admitted kids without any interest in the arts, they just need a higher head count for more money!!!! My child has been there 2 years and we are leaving at the end of the year. Please do not consider this a school for your child if you want the best for them and don't believe they are an A school, remember the scores are from the previous year, wait until the scores come out for this year.

This is a great " A" school that not only provides a rigorous academic curriculum but it provides performing arts programs for students are are interested in music, dance, creative writing, photography, singing (chorus), theater/acting (drama) and visual arts. My son loves the school. He will be graduating this year.

My son transfered as a sophomore to AA&M. I heard the school had problems in the past but our experience this year has been great. The administration & counselor are truly interested in kids. It is academically challenging with many honors & AP classess to choose from. many electives are offered & the students are accepting of each other regardless of who they are. Ther is parental involvement. I was apprenhenisive but after my experience this year I highly recommend it as an option.

I have wasted one year of my life at this school.
The staff in the office is rude and doesn't care about the students. They "forget" to do things and then are rude about it.
Many of the students do not care about school and a lot are not even planning to go to college.
There are many teachers that are horrible and either don't teach or have no idea what they are talking about. I would never suggest sending your child here, this school is a joke.
