Excellent school, great teachers and caring administration. The kids bring home a lot of homework, but I believe the education is superior to many schools as they are constantly being challenged. Can't say enough about the school.
For us, it all started when our daughter entered BFA in Kindergarten. her teacher, Ms. Sheil was excellent, one that every kid should be lucky to have at the beginnig of their academic career. She was aware of her students and their capabilities to the point that in our daughter's case, it meant the boost of her life days after starting school - a new Prodigy student was born and remained at that level ever since, even as part of the Cheerleading Program in place at the time. She went on to Howard Doolin Middle School and continued on to their Gifted program. Now, our daughter is in Terra Environmental Institute, one of the selected few accepted to the newest school in Dade County. Our son also started at BFA in Kindergarten and was lucky to have the same teacher. He is now going to Doolin, and will be in the first class of the new academic phase of K-8 with BFA - Doolin Ashe K-8 Academy. We're excited to have been able to enjoy this school in its prime and during this evolution. I recommend it for its professionalism, curiculum and teachers. What it has offered us and our friends' children shows it to be diverse and fitting in every way.
ive been in this school and its great, despite the short classrooms. To me it was a great elementary school. cause the teachers are kind and flexible with grades.
