About This School
Magnet schools are public schools that offer a specialized curriculum or educational philosophy, often with a specific focus or theme. Magnet schools promote student diversity because they are open to students outside the normal school district boundaries and often attract high caliber students through competitive programs. Miami Coral Park Senior High School Reviews
THere is to much emphasis on the fcat test. There should be more in the actual learning of the important things in lifwe. Reading, writing, etc. etc.
Even tho Coral Park has not always been an A school it does provide a good learning environment for the dedicated student that wants to learn, unfortunately those who don't are the ones bringing the school grade down; however those who had AP classes, and/or where part of the magnet are sure to be close to the best if not the best of well taught and studied students, and the same for those who are learning there now.
Coach K. rocks! (engineering teacher for ninth graders and chaperon for seniors taking Dual enrollment in the magnet).
Miami Coral Park has a great Engineering Magnet program. I also believe they have the best AP teachers and their students get the best AP scores compare to the rest of Miami Dade High schools.
Miami coral Park has great & caring teachers, and great school spirit. They have a lot of clubs for the students to get involved in. I just wish that they had better & more food options at lunch.
