Review Miami Killian Senior High School

Our student told us today that there was supposed to be a quiz in one class, which happens to be Keyboarding. The teach was absent again is what we heard. We have a record that we started to keep just because this teach has been absent more than 39 days out of the school year. Strange that we expect our students to learn when the teachers do not even come to class.
Let's go to the grading side of the school. There must be some kind of state or federal kick back for the GPA of the school. Because there are students there that do not even come close to knowing the subject on hand yet seem to get a 3.50 GPA in the class. Our teen has several projects along with them comes team work that is where we started to see the light. When we heard that the teachers give points on tests and quiz's when students do terrible on, to make them pass with a good grade. We asked a little more about this and our student explained that when we have quizzes and test's that there are a whole lot of student's in the AP (Advanced Placement) classes that shouldn't be in them. That do not pass there test's or quiz's so the teacher will add point's to them so they pass. That would answer why when you go to MDC (Miami Dade Community College) you have a whole lot of student's that really can't do too much.
