This school is very unorganized. Its main focus is on sports.  Visiting the school several times during the a.m.,  it takes at least 30 minutes to clear the halls. The registers office  is always  busy with students trying to find some excuse to get out  of class.  It appears that some of the students arent  take their education serious.

Miami Northwestern has a wonderful PAVAC and Medical Magnet Program.

Miami Northwestern has served as a proud beacon for the African American community since 1955.  It has produced thousands upon thousands of productive citizens...doctors, lawyers, politicians, judges, professional athletes, superintendents, and yes, it is home to the first African American to fly around the world.  There are many positive things that happen at Northwestern.  Unfortunately, these positive things do not garner the publicity that one negative incident can.   Northwestern is no different than any other school.  Every school—regardless of its demographics—has different obstacles to overcome; but, they all have the same goal—educating children.

This school is so poorly conducted many students are very behind in there school levels, this school has such horrible readers. There is constant fighting and gang activity. I actually ended up leaving this school because there was so much distraction.I now go to a different school,i would rather take 3 city buses every morning to get to my school then walk across the street and attend that school all in all the school is horrible.
