New Leaf School for Change Reviews
If you want a great experience for your child, this is your school. I have been through quite a few schools here in Jacksonville and then the day the miracle happened I found New Leaf School. My Son is autistic and he has absolutely blossomed at New Leaf. The staff is committed to each and every student. The children are treated with respect, enthusiasm, kindness to name a few. One of my favorite experiences has been that they teach real life skills, they prepare your child for what the world may look like or sound like to them, because as you know we are each going to see or hear something different. Each child will learn to their ability and beyond. The school will leave you in amazement as you climb the steps and wonder hmmm its so quiet surely they must all be outside, no they are just quiet, calm, considerate and they each know what is expected. I can't say enough wonderful things about our experiences. My son has been a student there for 9 years and will graduate in 2013. This would not have been possible in main stream education. I Love New Leaf School and so does my Son.
New Leaf School for Change has been a blessing to our family in so many ways. Our son has been diagnosed with PPD/NOS on the Autism spectrum and before we found New Leaf, we did not have much hope for the future. The public schools were basically just a day care for him and we found a lack of connection and interest there. When we came to New Leaf, that all changed. Jordan is in the 3rd grade and has been there since the later part of his 1st grade year. He is thriving! He is learning not only academics but how to interact with others and how to succeed in life. He is taught in a manner that meets him where he is and asks him to grow and stretch himself. He is happy and healthy because of the environment and the level of care he receives. The teachers and administration all genuinely care for the children there. The sense of family and cooperation is evident on a daily basis. I have never had one bit of trouble with this school or anyone there. I'm so happy we found New Leaf and for the first time in a long time I have HOPE for my son's future!
