I, on the other hand am a freshman of ocoee high school (2010-2011) entering my sophomore year and i find this school to be very good. in all honesty we provide the same equal education requirements as all other districts and have one of the best highly educated teachers. the truth is that the reason why some students don't like ocoee is because of the fact that the standards aren't strict enough to manage the students ability to learn. for ex: now that im not in algebra 2hon, we have had over 23 people fail the class because of the fact that there not ready enough to handle a honors or AP level class. So they take it out on the teachers, when they don't do well. personally i believe that we all have to same equal opportunities and its up to each individual student to mandate themselves into over coming what they expect to achieve. If every one were to study hard enough, we can be just as great as any other high school.

Trudy: Ok...I know that there are many people (self included) that are disappointed with what is happening at OHS. Students and Teachers aren't motivated, budget money is lost every year so.. so... and so on. Look at this simple picture: picture Orange County Schools as flowers. The stem of a flower is a feeding tube for that flower and if the stem is weak the flower will not blossom. Orange County schools stem, The School Board is weak and spending money on vacant land that can not be built on along with wasting money on lawyers to fight parents. So wasteful with the resoures that are given. Who are the ones that suffer...our children....our schools lose budget money and teachers and our children lose the opportunity for the education and futrue that they so deserve. The school isn't the problem the problem is with the 7 Board Members and the Superintendent...the ones that make the decisions for the schools. Please make better choices for our children.

This is my last year at Ocoee High and ive been there since my freshmen year and this school isn't as great as you expect. there are few opportunities at this school. Because, we are a D school once again. I don't believe in the saying, "Every Student WILL Graduate!". Most of the people that i know that were seniors alot didn't graduate. And the ESOL program is awful. Why? Because, i know fluent english and they treat us like we don't know any so i really hate this school hope everyone thinks differently

school have much to offer but did not pass for keeping the students motivated academically at athletically. its a shame.

I Am A Student attending Ocoee High School right now. And I Hate it. Im In The 9th Grade. Of Course It Sounds Like a great school but it really isn't. We have nothing exciting that keeps us students motivated. Ocoee has much to offer but the school is very boring!
