Cordova Park Elementary School Reviews
Very sorry teachers that do not care if a child has problems learning. The only good teacher my child had was Mrs. Killam second grade. After that my daughter was refused help in subjects she needed. I was lied to by the student counselor there saying my child attended intervention but according to her teacher she did not attend because her ADHD meds were not stabilized. (That was there way of saying we are not interested or care about your child). I think also the FCAT this year tells the story of how badly they teach. Only 27% of the kids in Escambia county passed. Teachers are only there to get a paycheck and go shopping.
Cordova Park teachers work hard to give every student the foundation they need to succeed. The special area teachers make art and PE fun and informative. The PTA is very active and does wonderful things for the kids and teachers. All the kids get a chance to be on the CCTV morning show. There are excellent rewards programs to encourage reading goals.
Mrs. Robertson a 5th grade teacher at the school is the crappiest teacher out there! She does not send info home with the kids. She does not care if you sign progress reports. She didn't care to call me when my son was failing the whole 9 weeks! My son was an honor student k5-4th grade till he entered her class! Just another teacher there for the paycheck! Awesome miss robertson! THANKS!
its a good school!
