What is it?

The FCAT is an annual test used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.

Which Grades and Subjects?

Students are assessed in grades 3 through 10 in reading and math, in grades 5, 8 and 11 in science, and in grades 4, 8, and 10 in writing.

How is it Scored?

Students score at one of five levels, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. The goal is for all students to score at or above level 3 (grade level).

N. B. Cook Elementary School

It is an awesome school especially if your child is into the arts. The teachers really care. Parent involvement is the best I have ever seen. The children put on plays and participate in Relay for Life Fundraisers.

N. B. Cook Elementary School

This school is awesome! It is so fun! You have 2 Arts, 2 PE's, 1 Dance, 1 Drama & 2 Music's!!!! It is so fun! (But if you're thinking about going there, I'd advise you to bring your own lunch most of the time) I won't be there next year. So, MIDDLE SCHOOL HERE I COME!
