Simmons Career Center Reviews

My teens have gone to this school and have accelerated. I have absolutely no complaints at all. The education is no different to that of a regular High School. Unfortunately there are some teacher that have no business being in this profession, but they are not just at this career center.

I don't think they are taking action in discipline to those who are poisioning are kids minds,My son attended this career center a year ago,he was expelled for his behavior, how can he make right decisions, when one of their school staff is using illegal drugs with pupils,is that right to influence our youth to choose one of the many wrong paths in life??! The saddest thing in life is wasted talent.drugs kill dreams.

I thought my friend's son was graduating from Brandon High. This is the first I've heard re: ALT. Schooling. The Mother told me son was attending a career school with the same benefits as a regular High School. I thought he was attending Brandon & had a program career training .
My only sister was retarded & mother did all her homework to
complete her own education. So, my sister did graduate in 1956, but it was my Mom's diploma.
I was the opposite, blessed with a high I.Q. loved school.
I know this young man is graduating from Simmons, had issues, re: truancy, dislectic, family, divorce & really no guidance.
He's way off wild, running with a bad crowd with no direction.
On the streets 3-4 days a time, no idea of responsibility, drinking,
toking, etc.
My question is... how is this school helping these problem kids if their test rating is 1 out of 10 rating?
I believe in Alt schooling for special needs.. seems a 1 scale test score at Simmons school is scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Evidently, this school isn't doing the job they're getting paid to do.
Where I come from, Hell would be raised & all would hit the fan.
1 out of 10 on 1-10 scale is unacceptable.
