Southport Middle is a good school. Both of my kids went there last year and the teachers were very concerned and involved in their progress.
I looovvveeee this school im in high school now. I left just last year and this school is the best school in port st lucie its absolutely awesome! I recommend students to go to this school. Its very fun .
Southport Middle School is a very good school! I have been a student at Southport Middle School for 3 years and i think it is a wonderful school! Everyone is nice and helpful. Any parent that is asking themselves if this is the school they should put their child this is definitely a school to consider. You might worry about bully's but there are a lot of teachers and faculty around. They make sure their students are safe! If you child has a problem at home. Southport has I think 2-3 councilors that will help your child through grades, something going on at home, etc. The students are allowed to meet their councilors anytime they need to. All the teachers and staff will help your child through anything they need help with. There is also this after-school and before-school program called 21st century. This program helps your child with homework, projects, book report, essay, extra credit basically anything! With the teachers at this school your child can succeed with no problem! Even if your child has a disability! The teachers will find a way to make learning easier. Even if it is SpongeBob Squarepants worksheets. Teachers will find a way to make learning a enjoyable process. Southport Middle School also has PBS days ( Positive Behavior System ) when you could wear a T-Shirt, go to a dance or have a motivational speaker come by the school and talk to us about the importance of trying your best in school and following your dream. Like January 23, 2009 David DiMuzio ( professional juggler, singer and motivational speaker) came to our school to juggle, sing, and talk to us about following our dream. Every student loved to see him juggle and sing. David DiMuzio got us (students of SouthPort Middle School) to sing with him. It was a blast! Thanks to the principal we got to have a fantastic time! Of course dress code. Very important part of every school day. We have a good dress code. We have to wear collared shirts , a belt, shoes that cover the heel and toe, nothing shorter than knee length, and no visible piercings (except ears). The teachers help us, the students, prepare for the Fcats. This is the right school for any child!
