My son has been at KCC since he was two years old . He is now in second grade.  i cannot say enough good things about this school!  He is reading and doing math at third and fouth grade levels.  He is excited about school and does not want to miss a day.  My older son did not get the KCC experience and there is a noticeable difference in the education level.  I actually feel guilty that he had to go to the local public school!  The teachers have been awsome.  My son gets bored easily and talks or disrupts class.  His teacher has identified his strenghts and the things he likes and is giving him more work to keep him occupied.  That way he is not disruptive AND he is learning even more!  Most teachers would have just sent home bad behavior warnings and left it to the parent to figure it out.  I really love the pro-activeness!  I also can communicate with my sons teacher by e-mail on a regular basis, she lets me know what is going on and what I might need to help my son with.  This ongoing communication is something I did not get in the regular public school.  I now feel like I am a part of the education process.
I just can't say enough about KCC and look forward to my third son starting kindergarten there next year!!

After several bad years of public school, I moved my above average student to KCC.  Public schools are only taught how to deal with kids who are behind, not ahead.  I have found that he can be in a regular class with all of his friends, and he can still get the appropriate level of challenge from the work.  I have a 4th grader and a kindergartner, and KCC will be the home for all of kids for as long as they can! I love it.

My son is a kindergartener at KCC.  We couldn't ask for more.  The school is great from administration to the teachers, even volunteers.  Everyday my son is not only greeted by his teacher, but everyone he comes in contact with.  Everyone has a smile and is excited about learning.  There is constant communication from the school and they highly encourage parent involvement.  Most of all, my son comes home counting down the hours until he can go back to school.  That speaks volumes.  GO KCC COUGARS!

"This school has absolutely changed my son's life! He is a brilliant kid who has a learning disability, and the staff absolutely understands his situation and teaches the way he learns! They are so insightful, understanding and capable, I feel lucky that we are part of that community."

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
