Longwood Elementary School Reviews
I'm not too fond of the school. The teachers are nice but the value of education not so great. I have two kids who go there. My oldest son complains about the school not having any walls. It's very distracting to him. Might I mention my son is an A/B student and not a problem child so he likes to be able to concentrate. Also as many schools as my kids have gone to it is the FIRST school where you aren't allowed to walk your child to class if you want. My son even got in trouble for walking his sister to class before he went to his own class. You have to make an appointment with the teacher in order to go to their class during school hours. Which I don't like because if I want to observe the teacher without he/she knowing I'm there, I would like to have that option. We all know people are on their best behavior when they know someone is watching. Again first school that doesn't encourage parents to observe if we want to as well. I personally haven't heard any good things about the school in the 2 and a half years my children have gone. I just wanted to write a review that let's people know that plan on moving to the area that the school doesn't have walls and the classrooms are divided by book shelves, dividers, and stuff and that I have seen better education in other places. So if it is a concern to you this is not the school for your child.
they are always friendly and warm welcoming. Along with very pertective of each student.
