My daughter has been at this school for two years now and I don't care much for it! I was worried about her going to a good school, so I've put up with a lot. Out of 10 this school is a 4!! From dropping her off to picking her up. The cop that should help with directing traffic or making sure things are safe. He pulls people over all of the time. Really? Even if it disrupts the flow of traffic he will pull some one over in the flow... I don't understand. When your picking your child up they constantly urge some people to pull forward although there are assigned areas for your child to be... What is the point if your going to force parents away from the area which the child is assigned before finding him/ her!! But yet, they can stop some parents and talk or whatever. I hate to bring up race this day n time being it is 2013. But I do think this is an issue at the school for some teachers. I understand that some people are or can be out of control or loud but I'm not that parent! Don't judge me. The first year my daughter did very well the first wk or so then started to get awful marks daily! I had to go talk to the teacher to find out what is really going on before I flip my wig on my kid!! I don't want my kid giving a problem to the teacher. Once I go to the teacher she tells me my kid isn't bad... Then why the sad faces? Once we got a meeting out of the way, my child had great daily reviews and really had to do something to be in trouble. This yr. this teacher and myself.... I'm not feeling her and she's pushing me over the top!! Both teachers are older. But her current teacher has had a lot of t issues and has had to be out quite a bit. When she's out everything's smooth no problems. She intimidates the children and yells at them! And I also felt as though she attempted to intimidate me earlier in the school yr. I Asked that my kid be moved (she's in the last row back of class) she brushed me off n said she.walks around a lot... If you are teacher most of your time should be spent in the front of the class. I know my kid..she likes to talk. Needless to say she's still in the back. my child is the only black child and there is one mixed child in her class n they are both in the back talking the school year away. my daughter did her home work and turned it in but the teacher did not give her credit because it wasn't signed!! I have a huge problem with this being that I haven't signed it most of the year. And just a wk ago for about two wks the teacher harrassed my daughter about signing off on her report card for the second grading period. She retaliated by giving poor daily marks to my daughter. In the yr and a half she's been there its NEVER.been a problem nor have I ever sent it back. Also my daughter told me she's bored and all of the words her teacher puts up she learned already. Will she be ready for the next grade? It doesn't matter how nice or aggressive a teacher can be .... What's important is your child receiving the proper education if its possible. I think things can be better. My kid gets the same homework ...the entire year. I hope to see more reviews to see how others are thinking about this school...

Dedicated teachers is what makes this school great! There are several programs available to students that teachers run without getting paid, because they believe enriching young minds is important.

Annmarie F.: I was a bit apprehensive about this school. After a couple of months of my daughter being in Mrs. Moller's kindergartens class I quickly changed my mind. This is a very good public school. The Principal, teachers and staff really care about the kids. This is a really great school and I am happy that my daughter attends this school!!!
