Arc Broward, Inc. Elementary School
dispicable staff and ridiculous teachers. I felt like i was at the zoo when i went for their open house. The teachers have no control over the children.I'd fear for my childs safety if i left them there the whole day. Not enough supervision and the supervision they do get seems menial. Teachers seemed uneducated, more like babysittters.

the review below me was written by a staff member at ARC broward. i am not allowed to copy and paste links from other websites, however if you google arc broward reviews, it is identical to what was written below me. This school is a joke. they are all about $$$$$$$ and have no interest in our children with special needs. Please be aware of the lack of inadequate teachers that are hired. Arc is perfect for day care sitting but that is it. The faculty have 0 special skills! Nova's autism center is 100% better

I hate to admit it, but I was a little hesitant about enrolling my daughter with special needs at ARC Broward after reading some of these reviews. However, after touring the school and speaking with both the staff and other parents I felt that this might be right place for my child. All of the classrooms were neat and clean, the new playground is just beautiful, and the children were all engaged in activities with the staff. My daughter loves waking up and going to school every morning. I get a note each afternoon explaing what she did during the day. I know that she is safe and well taken care of while at school. Even better, she is able to get additional Medicaid therapies at school so I don't have to run back and forth to different therapy centers anymore! I'm not sure about why other parents seem to have had such negative experiences, I couldn't imagine a better place for my daughter!

ARC broward is a terrible school. They claim to helping children with special needs but they really don't care! As one reviewer put it, they truly are "babysitters". In all honesty, I'm doubting where in God's earth they even found these so called "preschool teachers". I'm not at all impressed and removed my child from this school as I to found markings on my child that wren't there when I dropped my child off to ARC. When i asked the preschool teacher about this, they brushed me off! Parents please note that ARC doesn't have any cameras in their preschool classes and when your child can't speak, Lord knows what these teachers are capable of!!!!!!

ARC Broward has been serving families successfully for more than 54 years and is nationally accredited, and has an excellent reputation. The staff are caring, dedicated and their sole goal is for kids to achieve and be all that they can be..and then some!! I do not know what difficulty the above comment maker had but I am sure those comments are untrue..

I love ARC! My son began to walk within months of starting here an even began to use some signs. His teachers and everyone else that works there were amazing. I wish he could go back!

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL! If you are looking for a preschool for your child with special needs- don't enroll them here! My child endured 3 years at ARC and I wish I could take it all back. 2 of the years I was oblivious to what was going on. The last year I spent fighting with them. You are better off putting your child in a local "PLACE" program with typical children. Especially if your child just has a learning disability. Their whole attitude towards are children is LOW EXPECTATIONS. They act as if they believe in our kids, but they don't! They don't encourage them. They damaged my child and made me FIGHT for everything my child needed! NOT a good school! My child also came home with marks regularly and they never could tell me why!
