Mother of student: I am concerned of the violence problem. Another student had his head split open and was admitted to the hospital for his injuries. There was no one to break up the fight. The administration lies about the violence problem. I will likely pull my son out when winter vacation is over.

Wespine Middle has good Teachers. Unfortunately, it seems as if the size and the set up of the school ties their hands from doing a great job. This school is for kids who are doing well in school, not for kids who need help. The ESE program is non-existent. My daughter got straight "F" practically all year long; and although I informed the school that she was in the ESE program and had an IEP, nothing was done for her. She was thrown in to the regular classes and the school did not find it extremely unusual for a student to get straight "f"s all year long.
Because of the size of the school, the security level seems to be pretty low. Briefly, if your child has issues or belongs in the ESE program, I recommend that you find a different school for him or her. As I said, the Teachers are very good, they communicate with the parents, and return calls promptly. But the school as a whole seems to be overburdened and not able to really care about finding solutions for the struggling kids.

Westpine middle school is a bad school with fights going all around it is hard to control students form safety.

I went to westpine 2 years ago and its an amazing school. West pine was my first American school, I had just moved from Jamaica and the teachers were nice to me and it was easy to make friends .The staff are all friendly, but at the same time they don't play. I so happy that my past middle school is an "A" they should be nothing less.

Awesome school i currently go there, they have there fights herer in there but so does every middle school, its a great school i recomend it

i graduated from Westpine last year and all i have to say is its an amazing school.
i recommend the peer counseling program and the office staff is commendable.
