Liberty Middle School Reviews
I am pleased beyond belief at Liberty Middle School. I frantically searched out private schools for my daughter at the end of 5th grade because I was terrified for her to go in to junior high. She is exceptionally smart and the really smart kids are a little different and tend to make themselves a target. She has been diagnosed with ADHD and we do not medicate. Sixth grade went much better than I expected. 7th grade is awesome! My daughter tests at the top of the nation in her peer group but during the day to day school obligations she blows it completely, doesn't do homework, cares very little about grades etc... in 7th grade things changed due to AVID. AVID is a college prep program for kids like Kate. You have to interview for the program and the student usually has to show interest in the program, they don't ordinarily approach the student but they did with my daughter and I couldn't be more pleased. They did not allow her to slip thru the cracks! I am so pleased with Liberty. They have gone beyond what I expected for a public school!
