Robert G.: There is no question this is the most desirable middle school in Palm Beach County. Probably in the whole state of Florida. The academics are as good as they get, but your child has to qualify to not only get into the school but also to get into the best classes. That's why the school is so successful. It's not about how much money you have or how much free time your mother has to complain and lobby. It's about how you perform. Some parents taking their children out of a private school and into Bak have a problem with this because their child is just average at Bak. But that is not a bad thing!

Lots and lots of art/music/dance classes but the academics are mediocre. if you come from a decent private school you will be making a big step down academicallly. Some of the students have no social life because they have a long commute and take private classes in their major to "keep up" with the star students. There is not much supervision on the Tri-rail which is scary. not just from rowdy kids but the general public has access to the train.

Parent: This is an amazing school full of opportunities not just in the arts, but academically. It is a challenge for the students to keep up with the amount of work, but they are prepared for just about any high school after attending Bak. The principal has recently won a national award and this school has been ranked top in our county for a long time, and one of the top middle schools in the state.

Honestly, this school is lying through their teeth when you go for a tour. There teachers are terrible. They have no experience and are lazy. They dont teach us ANYTHING! The administration make unfair rules and give out detentions like they are going out of style. Don't even audition for this school, you will only be dissapointed.
