organized games . a safe commminuity.great anger management group . plus if you have a problem with someone or something you can always feel safe to tell your counsler and they will lisin to you.
Okay, that is a parent's review, I was a former resident. I did great for me and my family. Yes, I'll admit the academics were below average. But we had so many therapy groups such as, anger management, family sessions, and dorm groups. All the skills I learned during the week I was able to use them during the weekends. It really did good for me. The resident has to be accepting of the program for it to work.
Was your daughter attending regular school before highridge?, Mine does not and I can't convince her to. So I think it's only option for her.
Highridge Family Center was the worst school i have ever enrolled my daughter into.
The teachers are very horrable to the kids and don't follow the district's teaching methods, so when she had gone back to her school she was completly lost and very behind.
The staff is too agressive, and the theripsts there were not professional. They wouldn't listen to my Daughter.
I ended up pulling her out of the school after a month.
It made my Daughter more troubled then she was before she was enrolled to HighRidge.
She was depressed. They dont offer any of the students privicy and have rediculous standerds and rules. I wouldn't recoment it to any parents wanting to enroll thier children into HighRidge.
