Matlock Academy

Parent: As a parent of two students that have  passed through the doors of Matlock Academy, I can personally detail their compassion and commitment to student success.  They motivate and care for each and every student.  If a student doesn't want to work, then they don't belong.  My oldest son is presently in Medical School and my youngest in an Honors Program at a top Florida University.  Both students were prepared better than any of their counterparts for the realities of college.  They knew the responsibilities fall upon their shoulders to excel, and the maturity gained at Matlock Academy was the reason for their academic success.  

Miguel Soto: The previous comment could be a hoax, someone trying to undermine the school's reputation .   To my knowledge, no student has left the school recently and all the parents are happy to see their kids succeeding in High School.
My kid is doing great, both in school and in her Dual Enrollment classes. All the validation that this school needs is the incredible college success of the alumni.

Possibly the worst school ever. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined a poorer school. There is no curriculum (the few words that are said and the few assignments that are given are done on the fly and most aren't even graded), no text books (well just a couple), most of the students' time is spent online (facebook)....or just hanging out. The school is all talk NO ACTION...it is a total scam. If you want to learn, this is not the school for you. The best way I can describe this school is "babysitting for teens"....a student will receive NO EDUCATION, but they will have fun doing nothing... Any of the positive remarks from others must be hoax. That jargon couldn't be farther from the truth. I fell for it....don't be fooled too. Your child's future is too important.  I can't believe they are accredited.

Its curriculum is challenging and brings the best in every student.
My daughter is very happy there, she gets a lot of personalized and she is always encouraged to succeed .
I highly recommend this small school to parents and students who want very strong academics in a friendly and supporting environment.

Matlock Academy is the needle in the haystack that every parent has been looking for.  It provides an academic environment that doesn't just teach to students, but actually promotes the learning process.  My daughter was a fair student at another area school (private school), at Matlock she really grew as a student and as a person.  She cared about doing well (in academics and in life).  She went on to Graduate from Florida State University and is pursuing her Master's Degree (MBA).  

Everyone says it because it is true...Matlock is a family!  It is all about success!
