This school has been dealing with long standing issues related to bullying and apathy. The solutions implemented year after year merely are of form, but not of any real substance. Although there are some really good teachers working there, I have seen a hostile learning environment even in the classrooms where a teacher belittles, embarrasses and ridicules her honors math students, year after year. Multiple complaints to principals have not remedied anything. This sets the tone for the school where kids were found having sex, bringing guns, or racially motivated harassment and beatings. Go ahead and believe the cheerleaders if you want, the truth is very different if you have ongoing contact with many students from GMS.

we are starting our first school year in 2010, however, I've heard great things about the school, my son's looking forward to play for the school and show his team spirit.
