Allatoona Elementary School
Tracie Leavell: Both of my sons go to Allatoona. My oldest child struggles and though he is in a special program for struggling children it doesnt seem to be helping. We are supposed to meet more frequently but in fact unless my husband and I request a parent teacher it doesnt happen. My youngest son is doing fine in 1st grade but I would love to be able to put them in a different district or private school next year.
The office staff has been rude when I have called to check on my child when the bus passed the stop without letting him off, and when I go in to the office to ask a question their comment has been "what did we do now?" They have made me so uncomfortable that I don't want to help at any of the functions; in fact I don't trust them with my children.
