School Mission Statement
Our school is nestled in a quiet, rural community in south east Georgia. We are community and family oriented. Most of the staff have been teaching here for a long time. We have reared our children together and welcome any well meaning people who move into our community. We are close knit, and look after each other tremendously. Our teachers are some of the best in the state. We have some areas to improve, but overall we have much to offer. We have made AYP (adequate yearly progress) at our elementary school since its inception. It is so rewarding to see children I taught in Kindergarten, first grade or third grade graduate from our high school and go on to achieve their goals. I am so proud to be a Wheeler County Bulldog.
