About This School
We also have a highly academic pre-school with a Pre-k 3, and 4 year old program that gives younger children a strong foundation that will help them succeed in elementary school. The pre-school is a balanced teacher led and independant play environment featuring learning centers, Spanish, phonics/reading, math, brain-based exercises and parachute activities.
In 2010, Chandler Academy had 2 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The Georgia average is 15 students per full-time equivalent teacher.

Chandler Academy Reviews
This is a very small, unique school that has lots of windows, hoses and a duck on site so the kids are really engaged with the natural setting. The students work at their own ability level with the emphasis on deep understanding of the subjects. Even though the academics are rigorous, the classroom setting is very relaxed and non-competive. There is a real sense of community among the teachers and students. Students receive help when they need it and are allowed to work ahead in stronger subjects. Students also work together on projects and help each other a lot. My child loves going to school now!
Best School Ever! My child loves this school it has Horses, Gardens and a duck! They individualize each student and every child learns on their own level. Chandler Academy is Kindergarten - Eighth grade and the tuition is very reasonable.
Check two things before you go to this school: Their rating on BBB.org, and whether they are licensed and registered with the Georgia mandated "Bright From the Start" program, which is REQUIRED to operate in the state. http://decal.ga.gov/Default.aspx That should tell you all you need to know.
This school insisted that I pay all monies upfront, cashed my check and "admitted" my son without any school records, medical records regarding his ADHD diagnosis, and had NO immunization record on file for my son. This school NEVER even asked me for these items. My son attended there for two weeks and I was 100% disappointed with the instruction. In addition, this school refuses to refund ANY of the money that he insisted I pay for the remaining school year. His website indicates that you can pay monthly, however, I asked to be allowed to do this and was told he "needed" all of the money upfront. Well now I know why......he and his school are cut rate and fraudulent. The Chandler Academy does not provide individualized education. The students are given textbooks and worksheets and not provided with a hands-on learning environment as promised. I would not recommend this institution to anyone seeking a private school.
Chandler Academy is a great school! My son is eager to go to school each day, and has so many wonderful things to say about the school as well as the teachers. He is learning so much here. WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT

My son is a student of the very excellent Chandler Academy. When my husband and I enrolled him into the school, he was failing four subjects and was on the road to failing for the current school year. Chandler Academy's headmaster/curriculum expert immediately began testing our son and identified where the current system of education was failing. Our son was put on a tailored curriculum to address his individual strengths and weaknesses. We are happy to report that our son is confident happy and excelling. It won't be long until he is above his grade level. Chandler Academy is focused on getting your child from where they are, to their full potential. My husband and I wished we had found them sooner.
