State Bridge Crossing Elementary School
Valeria: This school is basically a good school. But my complaint is this school, like so many others, is not equipped to deal with kids who are exceptionally gifted and fast learners. Homeschooling was the best alternative for my son. Exceptionally gifted kids are on one hand like any other kid except their comprehension level far exceeds their grade level. Therefore run-of-the-mill a-b-c / 1-2-3 learning is boring simply because the work is too elementary for a child who's been reading and operating a computer since the age of 2. Should a child be penalized for having an innate and insatiable desire to learn. God created each person to be a unique individual, not a cookie-cutter version of one another. Frankly, all kids are uniquely gifted. Shouldn't they be treated as such?!
