We are new to HIES, but I must say that we are so impressed already! Our children have been so warmly welcomed into the school community, and they love the various programs that are available to them. We looked at several private schools in the Atlanta area, and we definitely believe that we made the best choice for our family. We particularly like the focus on balanced education at HIES which recognizes that academics, fine arts and athletics are all important components of a well rounded education. We have really enjoyed being a part of the HIES community so far (and it truly does feel like a community), and we are thankful that we found the right school for our girls.

HIES strives for excellence in every facet of education: technology, academics, arts, athletics, community service, character and values. The students are growing into confident and well-rounded global citizens in a warm community-focused environment. Every teacher we have encountered gets to know our child as an individual, meets his needs and challenges him appropriately. There are a lot of excellent private and public schools in Atlanta, but Holy Innocents' offers the best overall educational experience!

HIES is a terrific school that is grounded in the Episcopal tradition of inclusion for all students. I like the emphasis on new technology; even the pre-schoolers are being introduced to iPads. And 5th-through-12th-graders are issued Apple Notebooks. The school has a highly regarded Global Citizenship program, a nationally recognized Science Olympiad team and sister schools in Japan, France and Argentina.
