Pamela Alford-Green: I have been very impressed with the teachers and counselors in this school.  The counselors are proactive and helpful in helping the students prepare for college.  They have specifically helped and guided my daughter in her academic choices to obtain a college-prep endorsed diploma.  The teachers and counselors are eager to educate the children and helpful in applying for certain scholarships and recognitions.  

I am a proud alumi of BHS and take great pride in the school and know first hand of the quality of educators that exist at this high school.  I am proud to say that a large number of students continue their success after BHS.  There are teachers, principals, lawyers, pro-athletes, military personnel, law enforcement, etc who all attended BHS.

I know, in part, it is because a desire for education was instilled in the students by educators who possessed a desire to teach every student and expected every student to learn.
