Avery Elementary School Reviews
It is a fantastic school! All the teachers work hard to meet the various needs of all the students. The faculty and staff seem as happy as the students. A great place to be!
We love it! We were nervous about switching from a small private school to such a large private school. However, we know we made the right choice. We submitted letters to the school administration describing our children's strengths and weaknesses, and what type of teacher would be best for them. The school nailed it! We have been thrilled with our teachers. I know the first two years of any new school can be very disorganized and hectic. However, after talking to other parents, they all say that this year is totally better. Things are running much more smoothly. I'm sure that every year will produce new positive changes. The admin and teachers have been completely open with us about our children's progress. We email our teachers several times a week about all kinds of topics, and they email us back same day. Our kids love it there, and we do too!
We have had great teachers until this year. NOT impressed with the organization or parent contact with our teacher.
I think parent comments in regards to teacher performance should be taken into consideration when they let teachers go !
Overall a good group of kids.
I agree that Avery Elementary school is out of control -- from adults who all have to wear ear plugs in the lunch room to young children put on the the wrong bus and sent to other neighborhoods - to teachers who don't have the time to get their gifted students into proper programs. Find another school!
The worst school ever!! Do not allow your children to ge there if you can help it. It should be called Avery Jail House.
