Franklin County High School

59% graduation rate!  You'd think this would be enbarassing to administration.  Administration blames parents but I'm a parent and was shocked at the way this school operated.  Seems administration chooses who they think will become successful and if you are not one of the chosen ones....then no encouragement, no guidance, no changing their opinion.  Seems as soon as some of us are smart enough to move our kids, they are more confident and on their way to being productive citizens.  Trust me.  I know.  My children would have been part of that drop out rate.  They were moved to a high school that believed all students should be given a chance.  They went on to graduate and now we have 2 that are in 3rd year of college and one in grad school. New high schools graduation rate was 97%.  Go figure!!
