Its a great school, no one can argue with that. But the respect kids have for the teachers are almost non-existent most kids are rude. This school need to show these kids how to give respect and follow rules. Or the school is gonna fall apart. I see what happens at this school daily and all these kids just talk to the teacher anyway the want to

Edwards Middle School
ngs: Edwards Middle School has been a school of excellence in the past, but standards are not nearly as high as previous years. The challenge classes for gifted students are being "dumbed" down in order to accommodate more students. It lessens the achievements and accomplishments of those who are truly gifted. The communication between teachers and parents is almost non-existent. Most of the teachers do not hold their students accountable for missing assignments, nor do they notify the parents. My child complains about several of her teachers not being able to control their classrooms, which affects the complete learning process. The school system no longer places a high priority in teaching the importance of respect and responsibility. I fear for the generations coming up!
