Tgs Kidz Academy-Fairview

Msyvonne: I'm very proud to be a parent at TGS Kidz Academy!! My daughter was the third student to be enrolled at the center in child care.  She's still enrolled in the academy as a graduating kindergartner. Prior to my daughter being enrolled in the academy she was in a childcare that I would consider to be "GHETTO!" . With that said I would not consider TGS to be "GHETTO".  TGS Kids Academy has Very High Academics, Educational Field Trips,  Clean enviroment, and extra-curricular activities for students who's parent fully apprieciate and are willing to pay for what TGS has to offer their children.  TGS provides there parents with security cards as well as  codes to sign their children in and out of the academy. the Staff's very personal, informative, and always cheerful!! Overall, I would recommend TGS Kids Academy to all parents who care about their childs education!!!

I am so disppointed in this new center because the facility is beautiful and has so much potential however the place is very ghetto. They are very disorganized when it comes to checking and checking kids out and the amount of people who walk in and out of the building. There is a teacher there with big tattoos showing on both forearms, which i think is very unprofessional. The classes are very over crowded and i understand that children have colds and runny noses but i walked into a classroom on two separate occasions and counted 4 - 6 kids with runny noses and in front of the teacher i grabbed a tissue to wipe one of the kids noses that was sitting next to my sonm, she saw me and did nothing. A little girl she was speaking to had snot coming down her nose and she made no attempt to wipe her nose instead she told her to go put something back. Another occasion  i mentioned it to her that a little boy that was sitting next to my child his nose is snotty it was full of green snot and she acted like she didnt hear me when i know she did because she looked straight at the child and later asked him if he was done eating. The child had ended up wiping the green snot on his sleeve.  I also called the center to check up on my child and when i was transferred to the classroom i was greeted with "who this" and when I I stated who I was she continued with just "yeah" and was like I was checking on my child  and she stated "oh he good " I said "oh ok I was just calling because I know he was crying from dropoff" she then stated "oh yeah he been crying off and on all day". That ended up my sons last day and he went for a total of 4 days. I also believe do to so many kids that the kids are not getting the proper attention or love. I understand that they cannot cater to each child that is crying but when you have toddlers screaming at the top of their lungs because they are scared and in a new setting,  i think trying to calm them down by hugging them or talking to them calmly would be helpful but instead they ignore them and walk past them. This is what I watched them do to my child for 12min and then i had no choice but to leave because i had to go to work. The teachers never say good morning or smile and make me feel welcomed or feel good about leaving my child behind instead on one occasion when i told my kid to say good morning she greeted him with "wassup" and repeatedly said it until my child started crying. The teachers voice isn't soft or anything so when she talks to them it almost sounds like she is yelling at them and my baby is not used to that.
