AllisonWhite: I have 3 children and 2 of them attended oakland and 1 is currently enrolled there. It is an EXCELLENT school. My oldest and middle children have and have always been A students. My youngest is following their footsteps. I contribute a lot of this to Oakland. Now,due to budget cuts, they are talking about closing this wonderful school. Our children should stop paying for the politicians spend thrift ways. Our children did not get us into this recession!!!!!!

Oakland Elementary School
Sara Walker: My husband attended oakland elementary (he is now 39). And I am proud to say my 6 year old will be attending his second year there. The school is smaller than most and it seems the students learn better. The teachers are awesome. The whole staff are so friendly and know every child by name.
