South Effingham High School Reviews

South effingham needs to be more accommodating to the students about days missed. Any long term event or far away family affair becomes a lot of work for the parent and child.

I do not appreciate the fact that a teacher at this school went on a 15 minute rant to his class about why President Obama won the election, citing a reason that because he had more money. We do not talk politics at my job, and a teacher should not rant his personal feeling, because He does not know who he might have offended. I understand if it were a group discussion, or even a class that was relevant to this topic, such as economics, political science etc, but that was not the case. When I called the school I received the run around stating I am not a guardian. However, if it happens again, I will be contacting the school Board.
