Also, QUIT selling. I hate getting phone calls from the teachers or staff saying go out and sell sell sell that fundraiser. Teachers seem to spend more time on setting rules, promoting the sports, and selling selling selling. They need to spend more time on figuring more creative fun ways to learn.
This schools seems to rely on printouts to teach. I suppose that way they teach directly to the standards. There is not much creativity in their teaching. My son brings home these pages and pages of handouts printed off from some rediculous online site (the font is about 6point) You can barely read it. I guess the hide the fact it would have been 8 pages long at 12 font. Terrible amount of homework considering they take "powerpoint notes" a lot in school. WHERE IS THE TEACHING!!!!!!! I wonder these days.
"pick your rules" a basic few. You'll have less angered kids.
QUIT SELLING - vote a PTA in. That is what they do!!!!! Teachers and staff SHOULD NOT BE CALLING ME TO SELL SELL SELL!!!!!!! STOP IT!!!!
