Camden County High School Reviews

You are afforded the opportunity to receive a great education at CCHS, as with any school it is up to the individual and parents.  I am extremely pleased with teacher communication and the Honors/AP Classes for those that do want to prosper in life and go to college.  Don't blame a school for the lack of achievement, its up to you and yours.

People sit here and say that Camden County High is a bad school and that they worry so much about football more then they do in education. Yes football is a big part of this community but when it comes to what goes on in the class room it is about learning. The issue that many students face is a lack of parenting! If the parents would be more involved in what went on in their child's education and actually made them study and do their school work then the students wouldn't be failing. As a former student I know there are PLENTY of resources available for students that maybe struggling in a subject and needs extra help, but it is up to the parents and students to actually utilize those tools.

I wouldn't put much stock in the two previous comments. The spelling is subpar andI see no evidence to back up  their statements. Research CCHS's programs and improved statistics; you'll find that the school has seen enormous academic growth and success.

To the former student that wrote "CCHS is the worst school.." I can suppose a lot of teens feel as you do while in school.  Perhaps as you grow older you'll recall the BEST about high school. Another point....all gov't school are horrible...most students graduate having less education when compared to other countries. Consider how much of out tax dollars (billions) goes to NEA (for decades) to achieve  better/higher educational values and no bang for our bucks here.  Private schools and home school are so much better.  I am for abolishing NEA..bet you would see improvements w/less $$ going to unions and individuals pockets!

CCHS is the worst school I've ever gone too.

I feel the schools in the Camden County area have fail to truly address the growing issue of students not performing in school.

Do not like how their years are broken up. They brake it up like college semesters. We came in at the being of the second quarter and told us not to even enroll our daughter and home school her.

[I think this] School is more interested in the football team and their games then they are on the kids education.  They also care about the games more then families.  When we had two weather days instead of taking them in Oct when they had a 5 day weekend they took them at Thanksgiving. Reason, there was a huge football game and wanted the school spirit and wanted as many people to attend.. Yeah, not everyone cares about FOOTBALL!

Poor -  They seem more interested in looking good on paper than actually giving someone an education
