Lee County Middle School Reviews
LCMS doesn't use textbooks (which are out of date by the time they are printed)...but LCMS does believe in student directed learning - which helps them learn and grow into competent students prepared for high school. Not relying on the teacher to 'tell' a student what to do when a resource is available is an excellent skill for success. Your child is very lucky.
This used to be the best school around SW GA.. But, then they hired a bunch of new "teachers" a few years ago. Since then, test scores have dropped considerably. My son tells me that the teachers do not teach. They say "refer to the textbook".
Obviously, this is no way the best way to teach our children.
It seems they are more concerned with the $$ @ LCMS than teaching our children at a most critical point in their life. Sad.
