Good Shepherd Preschool
: Just as an update.... We could not leave Good Shepherd.. we opted into paying the amount because I wanted my son to be with people I knew cared about.. and I do understand but it makes it really tough on the parents. I really love the treatment that my whole family receives at Good Shepherd. They are great:)

Good Shepherd Preschool
: I loved this school but recently took my child from it. Here is the full story take it for what it is worth: When we went to Good Shepherd we were in a bind because my son had been attending an unsatisfactory daycare and they took us in within three days. (we carefully looked around facility and did all the normal parent stuff) Up until last week I could say nothing but how much I loved the school and the staff. (btw I still love the staff) Last week my son was ill with strep throat. He was wheezing and running a high temperature for days. They gave him an inhaler and told me to keep him out of preschool until he was not running a temperature any more. I call the school to notify them and told them that he would probably not be in the rest of the week. (just as a side note a week or two before then they had sent home a note about another student having strep) I thought everything was fine until I got billed for the full tuition for the week. It was not cut in half or anything it was the full amount. I immediately called to try to figure out what was going on. A few hours later they called me back and let me know that it was for the week he wasn't there. They then proceeded to tell me that there policy in the parent/student handbook required a two week notice for children to be out or the payment is required. The lady on the phone (don't remember her name) proceeded to tell me that I made a valid point when I said that there was no way I could predict my child being sick and that I could not afford to take off and also pay the school. The next day I took my son back to the school. The director came up to me and told me that she had got the message about what I said but that was their policy. I told her the same thing and then after a few minutes of discussion I told her that I would just take him with me then and not pay what I was going to pay.

It is sad because we have grown to love my son's teachers so much. They are great. I just would not recommend this school to anyone who doesn't think they can predict their child's illness.

Good Shepherd Preschool
: our daughter has been going for a year and she loves it.  Her social skills have advanced and the teachers clearly give individualized attention to every child. The programs are nice but not overwhelming. I especially am pleased by the fact that they do not bug parents all year round for more donations and more volunteering. The opportunity is there occasionally but they do not hound like many places do. The only complaint I have is that their billing system is confusing and erratic. It has frustrated me many times. Overall, its a wonderful place I highly recommend. Perfect value for the money.

: What a great website....and a great opportunity to tell you more about our school.  The school information should be updates shortly- but I wanted everyone to know that we serve children ages 1-13.

: We were recommended to this school 6 years ago.  Our first child to "graduate" from the preschool did so exceptionally.  Her kindergarten and 1st grade teachers have made several positive comments about her preparedness for school, social abilities, and curriculum exposure.  Our second child is enjoying the same exceptional care and education.  We are very pleased and recommend this school as often as possible.

: This is my child 3rd year in this school. Excellent school, extraordinary teacher and principle! They work with you and your child, make both parties happy and satisfy. My child learn a lot and still have long way to go, but this school is a very good beginning and give my child a very good foundation.
