Lithia Springs Elementary School Reviews
This school among many located in Douglas County lacks special education needs. I have found the quality of education given to children with special learning disabilities are inadequate to say the least. Although my sons teacher is very caring she does not understand nor possess the tools to handle a child with dyslexia and dysgraphia (a writing disability). Furthermore, the administration has shown little effort (if any) to have assessments of Language, reading, and behavior completed! This is especially frustrating when the school continuously holds my family accountable for my sons behavior and when I requested help (begged for the assessments is more like it) I was told it would happen. My sons assessments have yet to take place (it's been 2 weeks) and communication with administration (the principle himself) has failed me time and time again!
