About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. Marietta Charter School Reviews
This school has a personal, small town, community feel. The teachers & staff know all the students & most of the parents by name. The curriculum is excellent. My child's writing & reading skills have greatly excelled since completing 1st grade here.
Marietta Charter School is an excellent choice when you have no choice of where to send your child in Marietta city. It is like a family where all the teachers know each child by name even if the child is not one they teach. The children get personal attention and the teachers are flexible with each child's individual needs and learning style. The hands-on centers they use in each class is much more appropriate for our elementary aged kids. When the child needs extra tutoring it is available free of charge, like right now the math teacher is volunteering her own time to have Saturday school for extra instruction in math and my fifth grade son makes me take him. When your child enjoys going to school you know they are doing something right!
