Tamika Sheats: I have been pleased with what Walton County Headstart has done this 2010-2011 school year. The Centers manager Ms.Vickie Culbreath, along with her teachers and staff, have done a wonderful job. The center has a very loving and caring atmosphere. When you come to visit your child, they are actively involved in some type of hands on activity or an educational moment. All of the children seem genuinely happy to be there. Parent meetings are very helpful and informative with different representatives coming to share information that parents can use to better their children as well as themselves. Pictures are posted so that parents as well as visitors, can see the various activities the children have been involved in. Upcoming events are visibly posted at the entrance and throughout the center, as well as reminders given on newsletters from your childs teacher. I would recommend this particular center to anyone. They get 5 stars from this parent. Thank you all for what you do in the lives of our children. It makes a parent feel good in knowing that their child was given a proper "HEADSTART" transitioning into the school system.
