Montgomery County High School Reviews
I am the parent of a 10th grader. She is a mother and wanted to breastfeed her baby. The principal not only told us that she would not not be allowed to breastfeed her baby on her lunch break, but he went as far as to say that she would not be given access to any empty room/space to pump her milk for the baby. I think he is a Back-woods principal that needs to be there- back in the woods!
Any school that still use racial segregation, SHOULD NOT be a school anymore. Bulldoze the school down!!
I have 2 children in MCHS. Great school and caring teachers. Great academics and the sports program continues to make strides. This school system as struggled with some bad decisions and public outcry, but never have I felt that the students have not been getting the proper education. As to the comment about the prom the school has nothing whatsoever to do with the proms, that is the decisions of the students, they raise the money and organize the proms themselves. GREAT SCHOOL.
I am outraged that any public or private school would condone a "whites only prom" in this century. My hope is that some type of legal action will be taken to discontinue this jim crow practice.
