Eagle's Nest Elementary School Reviews
My son attended Kindergarten here and then the elementary school. He learned way more then I expected for his age. Their focus is on reading and math basics which are the most important elements in life. Right on top of any problems my son was showing and very into what was going on with him and how they could help any issues he was having learning. My daughter is in PRE-K though and like the other commenter on here she is not really learning much But i do realize that technically pre-k is voluntary and not an actual grade therefore does not have a curriculum as expected. Pre-K is more of a daycare style theme and anyone expecting more then that in Pre-K is unrealistic in any school district.
I SWITCHED MY SON FROM CRAWFORD CO. HEADSTART WERE HE LEARNED ALOT AT THE AGE OF 3.THIS YEAR HE IS IN CRAWFORD CO. EAGLES NEST .THE REASON I CHANGED IS BECAUSE I WAS TOLD HE WOULD LEAR MORE BUT WHAT I HAVE FOUND HE HAS LEARNED NOTHING NEW THEY SPEND MORE TIME ON LEARNING ABOUT HOLIDAYS AND GOING ON NON EDUCATIONAL FEILD TRIPS THAN ACTUAL TEACHING. VERY SWEET TEACHERS AND STAFF BUT MY CHILD IS FAR FROM WHERE HE NEEDS TO BE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL FOR ANY ONES CHILD IF YOU WANT THEM TO LEARN.ALTHO FROM WHAT I HEAR IT IS THE TEACHER THAT YOU GET THAT DEPENDS ON IF YOUR CHILD LEARNS MORE OR NOT ..ALSOI HAVE AA NEPHEW THAT IS IN KINDERGARDEN AND HE IS LEARNING WONDERFUL MAYBE IT DEPENDS ON THE TEACHER OR THE GRADE IM NOT SURE
